Maristela Mercedes Bauer is a guest lecturer at Universität Regensburg

Professor of the Accounting course at the Feevale University, Maristela Mercedes Bauer, will travel to Germany in November, where she will stay until January 2022, invited by Universität Regensburg. Since 2015, Maristela has been teaching – in English and for Master's students – the discipline of Integrated Reporting as an invited professor at the same institution. During the trip, the professor will participate in the Integrated Reporting seminar, promoted by the German institution, and will research on the topic of Social Responsibility between Brazil and Germany.

According to Maristela, internationalization provides the sharing of knowledge and the exchange of experiences about the themes that will be worked on. “In the last decade, corporate reports have evolved and started to communicate, in addition to financial information, relevant information about social, environmental and governance issues in an integrated way. I note that the activities of companies have a significant impact on the lives of citizens, not only in relation to the products and services produced and offered or the jobs and opportunities they create, but regarding to working conditions, human rights, health, environment, innovation, and education”, she emphasizes.
