ELEMENTARY SCHOOL – ESCOLA DE APLICAÇÃO

 

Feevale Elementary School – Escola de Aplicação – offers an inclusive and daring pedagogical proposal, allowing new teaching processes, research and extension activities which challenging students and teachers in their investigative practice, having as reference the research as an Educative Principle. The school is organized by formation stages, making it possible that its curriculum is worked out recognizing different learning times, promoting the students’ knowledge production and their development as a whole.

The institution also offers several foreign language courses, interdisciplinary projects, educational informatics. The student is able to use the whole Campus I infrastructure, such as monitored campus, clerks, library, as well as the History, Science, Mathematics and computer labs. Furthermore, there is an extended curriculum and sports workshops that happen in a different shift.

DISTANCE EDUCATION

 

The distance education at Feevale aims to offer an extra way of learning access, through the development of educational practices by Communication and Information Technologies. Thus, the distance education office has a multidisciplinary staff which guides the professors in order to help them to understand better how they can plan and develop their classes, as well as producing their distance learning materials. This office also offers actions that focus to expand and consolidate the distance education field.

Feevale offers:

- Present and part-present distance courses, up to 20% of their total disciplines.
- Part-present Lato Sensu Graduation courses.
- Distance extension courses.
- Special part-present course in teaching formation.
- Virtual Learning Environment as a pedagogical tool for under-graduation, graduation and foreign language courses.
