A disciplina aborda processos de transformação e conformação de materiais poliméricos de interesse industrial, relacionando as diferenças químicas e tecnológicas entre si; estuda conceitos de reologia de polímeros fundidos aplicados ao comportamento de materiais durante seu processamento.
