Managers from Häme University of Applied Sciences (Hamk), from VIA University College, and also diplomatic representatives will be at Feevale University next week
In order to strengthen Beyond: Alliance for Knowledge (BAK) - a trilateral agreement among Feevale University, Häme University of Applied Sciences (Hamk) from Finland and VIA University College from Denmark - the institution will receive representatives from these universities and their countries next week, from March 21 to 23. Rector Pertti Puusaari and the director of Human Resources and Development, Heidi Ahokallio-Leppälä are coming from Hamk, as well as the ambassador of Finland to Brazil, Markku Virri will also participate. Via University College will be represented by the Rector Harald Mikkelsen and by the Director of Innovation and Internationalization at the School of Business, Technology and Creative Industries, Jonna Pedersen. The vice president of the Innovation Center Denmark from the Danish General Consulate in São Paulo , Stina Nordsborg and the minister of the Representation Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Milton Rondó Filho will join the event too.
The visitors will be welcomed on March 21 by Rector Inajara Vargas Ramos, by the Director of International Affairs Paula Casari Cundari, and by other Feevale managers at Espaço Cosmos, located in the Red Building, Campus II of the University, at 2:30 p.m. The guests will visit the new spaces for the graduate courses, as well as the Library in Campus II, Feevale Theater and Feevale Techpark. During the visit to the institution, the authorities will address issues such as the evaluation of the progress and challenges of the strategic alliance; the schedule for activities by the year 2020; the assessment of joint research projects; and the implementation of Nordic students participation in Feevale masters and doctorate courses (Environmental Quality, Cultural Diversity and Social Inclusion and Materials Technology and Industrial Processes).
